Many dissertations written in the last twenty years are freely available via Tennessee State University's digital repository, Digital Scholarship @ TSU.
If you are a student, staff, or faculty member and want to access dissertations written before the year 2000, you can use ProQuest Dissertations and Theses Global database. (If you are off-campus you will prompted to enter your TSU credentials for access.) Full-text access to TSU theses and dissertations goes back to 1980.
If the dissertation or theses you are looking for is unavailable via the above online resources, then circulating copies of print dissertations and theses are kept behind the Brown-Daniel (Main Library) Circulation desk on the first. floor.
